Last weeks 5th Starter Studio Demo Day kicked off at the Pugh Theatre at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts. The community helped #FillThePugh and support class #5 as they took the stage to showcase what they’ve spent the last three months working on.
The startups each gave impressive presentations and really showed the audience how far they’ve come in the short amount of time. They demonstrated clear and effective business models and shared numerous ways they plan to succeed. Many of the startups altered and changed their business ideas numerous times throughout the program to turn it into a promising business.
The last three months were really about preparing the starters for last weeks Demo Day to help them reach their audience and potentially land a deal for themselves. Class #5 has spent their time in workshops, meeting with mentors and pushing through a series of tests to ensure their confidence and preparation during their debut.
